Would be a VERY welcome improvement to the camera interface where two exposures give you that much more punch...
of course if Adobe want's to go REALLY crazy, they could give you a 2 or 3 or even 5 shot options and give you a full HDR interface. Still my number 1 complaint that LR does not allow me to customize my workspace like EVERY FREAKING PIECE OF SOFTWARE IN CC!!! Scrolling through the panel is an obstacle to access, and so is solo mode.
I just bought a Fuji X-T1 and I quickly realised how badly Lightroom can handle the files.
There are also nearly no camera profiles at all for Fuji.
Be sure to let us know what you think of them in the comments! in Applied Mathematics and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Music Compositon. Instead it pops up a "Save As..." dialog and then requires sycnchronizing the folder to get the PSD (or TIFF) image to appear back in the Lightroom Catalog.
Alex Cooke is a Cleveland-based portrait, events, and landscape photographer. Adobe, to their credit, were quick to respond and were able to replicate the issue and hopefully a fix will be out soon.
Camera Raw 5.2 includes the final version of the DNG profiles, so if you had installed the prerelease (beta) profiles you may want to remove them before installing the final profiles. After hearing so much about the great image quality, improved dynamic range, and high ISO noise performance, I borrowed a Sony Alpha a7R II Mirrorless Digital Camera and the T Smart Adapter Mark IV for Canon EF or Canon EF-S Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount cameras. With the Metabones adapter, I can use all of my Canon lenses with functioning AF and no vignetting, even on the wide angles. Here is the problem: when I try to convert a Sony ARW file–perhaps they misspelled RAW :), Photoshop opens and the dialogue box says When I followed the link in the dialogue box I wound up in no-mans-land.But perhaps most exciting is the addition of the same capture interface that the Android version of the app has to the i OS version. This interface allows the user access to a "professional" mode, which is essentially a full manual mode.
I keep seeing similar comments about how C1 seems to be so much harder to figure out than Lightroom. I used LR before C1 and the degree of difficulty using both is the same.
